Please note that our standard warranty does not apply to natural stone products. All travertine products are carefully inspected and securely packaged in a wooden crate, which will require your own tools to open. Travertine is a natural stone, and each piece possesses its own unique imperfections and characteristics. Variations in color, texture, polish, and pattern are inherent to the material and should be appreciated as part of its natural beauty. This product is porous, and contact with liquids or hot beverages may cause marking on the surface. We strongly recommend wiping away any spills immediately with water or a mild cleaner. To further protect the integrity of the surface, the use of placemats and coasters is advised.

Shipping & Delivery

Our third-party couriers represent our company and we only deliver with the most reliable and cost-effective carriers. We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 48 hours from the time of payment. Deliveries occur Monday to Friday during normal business hours. If you require delivery outside business hours, please contact our team to see if this is possible for your order.

A person from your end will be required to assist the delivery driver to carry heavy or large bulky product/s to your ground floor and/ or front door. Should you have special requirements, please leave clear instructions in the comments section upon the checkout process.

NOTE: All deliveries are based on 'curb-side' pickup. For heavier/bulky items, you may need to assist the delivery driver. If you cannot assist or if you wish to have your items brought inside the property, please contact us before ordering.

Estimated delivery times

NOTE: These times are for products which currently are in stock. Some products may only be available for shipping at a future date. Please check the product description.

We and our third-party couriers endeavour to meet the estimated delivery times on all occasions. However, please note that the delivery location and order size will ultimately impact the speed of delivery. As such, allow up to 15 business days for all deliveries in the event of a delay. Please allow up to 12 business days for non-fragile rural deliveries.

Fragile items include marble coffee tables, entertainment units, sideboard and buffet units, and items containing glass.

Removalist service

If required, we can provide a removalist service for an additional charge. Fragile removalists are white glove and experienced furniture handlers (two persons) for larger fragile items. With a white-glove service, our delivery partners can carry your product/s upstairs into any room of your choice. Due to our wide product range, we ask that you contact our customer service team for more information on white glove services, pricing, and restrictions. Transit insurance will incur an additional charge when using a removalist service.

A removalist service is recommended for fully assembled, heavier and bulkier, and very fragile items, such as:

  • Boardroom tables
  • Bookcases
  • Buffet units
  • Dining tables
  • Larger lounge chairs and sofas
  • Marble coffee tables
  • Office desks, and
  • TV units

Delivery cancellation fees

In the event of a fragile removalist delivery cancellation, a cancellation/ re-booking fee up to 50% of your total freight costs may apply. Requests for delivery cancellations or re-booking must be lodged as soon as practicable after placing your order.

Melbourne Only Items

Due to fragility, size, and packaging, selected products (labelled as 'Melbourne Only') are restricted for pick-up in or delivery to Melbourne metro areas only. Abode Haven reserves the right to cancel and refund any orders for these items made outside the Melbourne metro area. 

Please note that all Floor Stock/Ex-Display peices are strictly limited to delivery within Melbourne Metro. Calibre Furniture may cancel and refund these product(s) if ordered for interstate addresses.

Pick Up Orders

If a customer chooses to pick up their order, the customer must wait for confirmation from us before they visit the location for pick up. 

Most pick up orders require 24-48 hours notice before collection, if you need your order sooner, please contact us before ordering. We ask that customers confirm the date and time they wish to pick up the item with us beforehand.

Once a customer has picked up an order, there is no insurance on the transit of the item. Customers must inspect the item as best as possible beforehand as we cannot provide a replacement or a refund for damage found after transit. 

Refunds & Returns

Note: This product has a 2 day change of mind policy

To lodge a change of mind return, please email the team at sales@abodehaven.com.au with your order number and written request for your change of mind return.

To qualify for a change of mind return, all product(s) must meet the following conditions to be accepted:

  • In brand new, re-sellable condition.
  • Returned in their original packaging (both internal & external)
  • Returned in unmarked and unused condition
  • Unassembled or in the exact state of assembly as originally delivered
  • Including all accessories and parts
  • Original receipts and invoice

If the returned product does not meet the above requirements, Abode Haven reserves the right to charge a restocking fee and withhold 50% or less of the product price paid by the buyer including delivery charges.

A refund will only be processed once the product(s) have been received and inspected by our warehouse team and meets the above requirements. Shipping costs from the original order are not refundable and cannot be credited.

Once the goods have been accepted, your refund will appear in 5-10 business days.

The below types of products are excluded from all change of mind returns:

  • Marble and reclaimed timber items
  • Made to order/custom products
  • Products which have been partially assembled or assembled in full
  • Products not shown or advertised on the Calibre Furniture website
  • Items ordered under a bulk order
  • Clearance, Floor Stock/Ex-Display and/or sample products
  • Any sale items

After the 2 day period has ended, no change of mind returns will be given.

Defects & Claims

Our products are thoroughly inspected prior to dispatch, but we understand that things can go wrong. If your order has arrived with any issues, please contact our support team by emailing sales@abodehaven.com.au with the following information:

  • Order Number
  • A photo of the product damage or discrepancy with the item, clearly showing and describing the fault or claim reason in question
  • What you request as a solution

Our support team must be notified of any faults or damage within 48 hours of receipt of goods in order to assess the claim. The team will ask for any further supporting information if required.

  • If the product was damaged in transit, please ensure that adequate photos have been taken of the packaging to show any possible mishandling. Please ensure that transit damage is lodged as a priority to ensure that we can lodge a claim within the relevant carrierโ€™s claims window.
  • If a product is reviewed and found to be repairable, our team may organise replacement parts or a repair service to remedy your claim.
  • If a product is reviewed and found to be faulty and irreparable, our team will arrange a full replacement or return the product for a refund.
  • If a product is received and found to be different than advertised, or it has been received with a minor defect or difference, our team may offer a partial reimbursement prior to exploring return or exchange options.

All faulty product(s) must be returned to Calibre Furniture and packed safely for transit. We require the faulty product(s) to be packaged adequately in the original packaging, including all accessories and parts, and where possible, not assembled or partly assembled in any way to avoid further damage in transit.

Please note that Abode Haven is not liable for transit damage where the relevant products were not freighted by Abode Haven, including products damaged in transit after a customer collection.
