Shipping & Delivery

Our third-party couriers represent our company and we only deliver with the most reliable and cost-effective carriers. We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 48 hours from the time of payment. Deliveries occur Monday to Friday during normal business hours. If you require delivery outside business hours, please contact our team to see if this is possible for your order.

A person from your end will be required to assist the delivery driver to carry heavy or large bulky product/s to your ground floor and/ or front door. Should you have special requirements, please leave clear instructions in the comments section upon the checkout process.

Estimated delivery times

NOTE: These times are for products which currently are in stock. Some products may only be available for shipping at a future date. Please check the product description.

We and our third-party couriers endeavour to meet the estimated delivery times on all occasions. However, please note that the delivery location and order size will ultimately impact the speed of delivery. As such, allow up to 15 business days for all deliveries in the event of a delay. Please allow up to 12 business days for non-fragile rural deliveries.

Fragile items include marble coffee tables, entertainment units, sideboard and buffet units, and items containing glass.

Removalist service

If required, we can provide a removalist service for an additional charge. Fragile removalists are white glove and experienced furniture handlers (two persons) for larger fragile items. With a white-glove service, our delivery partners can carry your product/s upstairs into any room of your choice. Due to our wide product range, we ask that you contact our customer service team for more information on white glove services, pricing, and restrictions. Transit insurance will incur an additional charge when using a removalist service.

A removalist service is recommended for fully assembled, heavier and bulkier, and very fragile items, such as:

  • Boardroom tables
  • Bookcases
  • Buffet units
  • Dining tables
  • Larger lounge chairs and sofas
  • Marble coffee tables
  • Office desks, and
  • TV units

Delivery cancellation fees

In the event of a fragile removalist delivery cancellation, a cancellation/ re-booking fee up to 50% of your total freight costs may apply. Requests for delivery cancellations or re-booking must be lodged as soon as practicable after placing your order.

Abode Haven clients have 48 hours within receiving delivery* of Calibre Furniture Products to request a return or make a claim by contacting our service team on (02) 7259 3753 or at

When possible, the returned product(s) must be in Calibre Furniture’s possession within 48 hours from the date of receiving the delivery. All product(s) returned must meet the following conditions to be accepted:

  • Returned in original packaging
  • Original receipts and invoice
  • All included accessories and parts
  • Not assembled or partially assembled
  • In a re-sellable condition.

If a returned product is unable to be resold as brand new by Abode Haven (at its sole discretion), Abode Haven reserves the right to credit only 50% or less of the product price paid by the buyer.

Return deliveries must be requested first for authorisation prior to returning the product(s). Unauthorised returns will not be accepted. Buyers are welcome to return the product(s) themselves to the nominated warehouse during business hours to save on re-delivery costs. If the buyer cannot return the product(s) to the warehouse themselves, we can arrange a collection from the nominated address at the buyer’s expense.

Please note that Abode Haven will not be responsible for any costs associated with shipping the return unless the product(s) are damaged in transit by our nominated carriers or is deemed a manufacturing fault.


We cannot offer change-of-mind refunds, returns and claims for the following purchases:

  • Made to order/custom product(s) are not eligible for our return policy. These custom-made purchases cannot be returned or refunded as the furniture is specially ordered from a supplier and specifically made for the client. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all custom-made orders are 100% appropriate prior to purchasing. Please note that the 50% deposit required for custom product(s) is not refundable if you choose to cancel the order at any time.
  • Large, semi-assembled MDF product(s), such as TV units, buffet units or desks, or, marble and reclaimed items, are not eligible for our return policy due to the complexity of packaging and special fragile handling requirements.
  • Products which have been partially assembled, or assembled in full.
  • Products not shown or advertised on the Abode Haven website.
  • Bulk orders are not refundable due to the large quantity.

As most of Abode Haven's products are bulky and hard to transport items, if you live outside a metro area in any state please contact us before ordering as your shipping may be different to what is shown on the checkout page.

This also applies to all orders from NT, TAS or WA.

We try our best to subsidise shipping as much as we can and it's possible your shipping may be cheaper than what is shown.
