Shipping and Delivery

All Cougar Lighting orders carry a $15 flat fee to Metro areas. 

For non-metro areas, please proceed to checkout where freight will be calculated for you. 

Abode Haven reserves the right to charge an extra fee for regional, rural and hard to access areas.

If there is an extra fee we will contact you informing you of the cost and if you choose to not move forward, we will cancel your order free of charge.

Orders usually leave the warehouse in 2-4 days.

Pick Up Orders

If a customer chooses to pick up their order, the customer must wait for confirmation from us before they visit the location for pick up. 

Most pick up orders require 24-48 hours notice before collection, if you need your order sooner, please contact us before ordering. We ask that customers confirm the date and time they wish to pick up the item with us beforehand.

Once a customer has picked up an order, there is no insurance on the transit of the item. Customers must inspect the item as best as possible beforehand as we cannot provide a replacement or a refund for damage found after transit. 

Abode Haven will not be liable for any damage found after the transportation by yourself or a courier/freight company not organised by Abode Haven.

Returns and Refunds

Short Deliveries

All short deliveries must be reported to Abode Haven within 2 days of receipt of delivery.

Conditions of Sale

Credit claims will not be accepted after 14 days of invoice. Approval for return/credit must be authorised by an Abode Haven representative. Adjustment/Credit notes will not be issued unless the particular relating order numbers are provided.

Damaged Fittings

All faulty fittings must be reported to Abode Haven on the day of delivery. No returns will be accepted without prior notification. All faulty Cougar fittings must be returned by an Abode Haven approved carrier. 

No claim will be considered without a photo/video of the damage.

Credit Claims/Returns/Change Of Mind

All credit and or return claims must be made within 14 days of receiving goods.

All claims for return must be authorised by Abode Haven.

The original order number and date must be quoted on all claims.

Returned Goods will not be accepted by Abode Haven unless they are current stock items and are returned in their original packing, unsoiled, undamaged and otherwise in a complete saleable condition.

Under no circumstance will Abode Haven credit or accept return of any special ordered goods, goods that have been specially modified for order or imported specially for an order.

Claims for cancelled orders or ‘change of mind’ will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee and all freight charges involving the return will be deducted from the return claim. The claim must still be made within 14 days of receiving goods.
